Urbana Pops Orchestra is a collection of Central Illinois
musicians working to bring high-quality orchestral music to
Urbana, Illinois and its surrounding communities while providing
an opportunity for students to play with the finest
professionals.
About the Urbana Pops
We are a locally-grown, 65-piece
ensemble composed of music educators, college music majors, and
seasoned community musicians sharing their stands with talented
youth musicians. Our goal is to bring high-quality,
popular orchestral music to the community at little or no cost
and to nurture talented young musicians.

Our summer 2012 season dates have been
announced! Friday, June 15 at 7:00 PM,
the UPO will play at The Vineyard. Saturday, July
7 at noon the UPO will play a free concert at Lincoln
Square.
